A few Xbox owners have experienced the RROD, and the PS3 is available in the color black...keep this info on low down...few people know.
Shenmue would be my top choice for sure, followed by a TRUE Phantasy Star sequel. Phantasy Star 5...none of this online stuff.
If you are a fanboy, you're not "hardcore." Passing on MANY fantastic games because of brand loyalty doesn't make sense to me anyway. But I'm neither casual nor hardcore, I just game whenever I feel the need, whatever that makes me, so be it. I do have to say though...what wrong with guns and boobies?
I hate the FANBOYS who always have to complain about them simply because they dont agree.
To me, it all comes down to frequency. IMHO, Final Fantasy X could have been a great game, but the encounter rate was ATROCIOUS, and it ruined the game for me ( I still beat it mind you) On the other hand, the original Lunar for Sega CD was spot on...you could actually walk around for more then seconds before getting into a battle.
If it's half as good as Tales of Vesperia, it'll make me happy.
Remakes usually take what we loved about the original and try to improve upon them. However, the 'improvements' often change the game enough, that it no longer stays true to its roots.
Examples are: the Phantasy Star series, and Lunar 1 & 2 just to name a couple. I say let the classics stay classics, don't change them into something new.
I'm using Firefox with Vista64 right now. Haven't had any issues. Sorry friend, not sure what to tell ya.
but that could be said about 90% of the articles on this site.
Motorstorm was a freebie that came with the purchase of a PS3 for several months. Those are counted in total sales, but shouldn't be.
I actually think both D pads suck for this game. The PS3 has no fluidity with the 4 direction design (you need a smooth, circular pad) and the 360 to way too inaccurate. You really need the Mad Catz 6 button or Arcade stick. In general, yes, the PS3 D pad is better, but I don't think either have the advantage with this game, because both suck equally.
won't be able to appreciate this compilation, because most people on this site act like 5 year olds, and they probably are. THIS IS AN AWESOME COMPILATION!!! I grew up playing these games, and although I already own them in one form or another, I must have this disc.
a Jasper arcade unit this week (already had a hard drive) and I was surprised how little heat was coming from the back after four hours of playing it. The console I had before that was a launch Zephyr system, so the the new Jasper is a night/day difference. Still wish it could have come out sooner, but really nice nonetheless. It's still not as quiet as my PS3, but I think it now runs a little cooler then my PS3...my PS3 still has it beat on noise...Sony made a silent machine.
Square hasn't made a great game since the 16 bit era. The SNES is still king of Squares groundbreaking achievements. Nothing in the passed 10 years can compete with FF2, FF6, Chrono, Mana, etc. Square ruled all back in the day.
but I think every Square game from 7 until recently have all had major issues...yes, including FF7 (That being said FF6 is my favorite RPG of all time) The one thing that kept FF10 from being great, was the plain and simple fact that you couldn't walk three feet without getting into a battle. Battles that are too frequent is the single greatest way to ruin a potentially good game IMO. I guess I'll have to pass on this one. Thanks for nothing Square.
You can blame the devs all you want, or you can pull your fanboy head out of your a** and realize that the Cell is great multipurpose chip, but not the best gaming chip. I own all three systems, and I'm happy to say that I'll be getting the better version...the 360 version. I love my PS3, it's a sexy, sexy machine, but devs can't always be blamed. Maybe Sony shouldn't have tried to implement their own technology, when there are chipsets that are just good and easier for devs to use. God b...
Well, if SOCOM can supposedly be fixed with a patch, I imagine these issues can be too. No worries, the game still rocks.
There is also no "duck and cover" system in UT. The mechanics of the two games are completely different.
But if it is an Internet browser, I don't care. I have all three systems, and I think you have to be a complete idiot, or just feel like wasting your life away if you actually use the Wii or PS3 browser. The browsers they use suck balls, even if you have a keyboard. Just jump on your PC if you need to hop online that bad. Unless you can install Firefox, console browsers are a waste of time and space.
You can't compare the two. They are COMPLETELY different games. One is an action, one is a strategy. That be like comparing Killzone 2 to MGS4. "They both have guns...they must be the same genre" TOV rocked, and is ONE of the best this gen, and so is VC, but totally different.
